The Dancer is named after our very first beer from our early homebrewing days. We made this beer upon returning home from a festival – a weekend full of partying where we danced our asses off!
We love dancing and we like the idea of having a delicious, hoppy IPA to accompany us on the dance floor. This beer, with 7% ABV, is an ode to all the colorful boys/girls and men/women who like to express themselves through dancing, raving and generally rocking out.
Differing from our Gaia IPA, the Dancer is made with Simcoe, Chinook, Sorachi Ace, Columbus and Hallertau Blanc hops from the USA, Japan and Germany. This makes for a truly transatlantic IPA with a very tropical kick.
The label design comes from Rutger de Vries who also made a huge graffiti mural for our brewery. We love his dripping-wet and colorful style, which makes us think of all the different floral hops and their super fresh and sticky qualities. Just like his mural, this brew is a rainbow of hops!
