We’re brewing bread now!
Meet BrouwBrood Amsterdam, a startup of four young entrepeneurs, who use our spent grains (the leftover grains from the brewing process, which actually still contain a lot of fibres and less sugars) to bake bread. They do it under supervision of our city’s best baker, Hartog’s Volkoren, so you can be sure it’s good.
As from today, this circular economy brew-bread is sold both in our Taproom and at Hartog, with more places following. It’s as healthy as delicious. Taste the future!
