This is the 9th Studio experiment: a golden sour ale that was made as a bier de courage, a blend of old and young. Together with our Chicago friends of Marz Community Brewing, we made an awesome blend of a one year old beer fermented in a red wine barrel and a Berliner weisse sitting in a white wine barrel for six months. Neutral young beer was blended to brighten up the beer and allow refermentation. Artwork by the talented Nelke Mast.
